Daisy's Garden of Glee adventures!

We grabbed our bags and headed to Carlsbad for a day that was no doubt going to be fun and adventurous. We stopped to get breakfast, so that we could enjoy our first few hours exploring the creativity and rides at LEGOLAND.

As we drove up to enter the parking lot, it was as if we were being greeted by tons of Lego creations that are located along the sides of the road. Parking was so easy and we were able to get into the park quickly.

My family and I decided to check out Sea Life which is an exhibit of all kinds of wonders of the ocean. We loved the humongous fish tank that had a variety of sharks, Batrays, Stingrays and more. The Jelly Fish are so awesome. It was amazing to witness them changing into quite a selection of such vibrant, beautiful and glowing colors. I strongly recommend experiencing that exhibit, it was phenomenol.

After we finished, we headed over to the LEGOLAND amusement park. A cast member offered me a map and we began to explore the amusement park. I could not believe how big it was and how much LEGOLAND had to offer. In our group, we have an array of ages and at this point I knew everyone was going to have a spectacular time.

My kids wanted to experience the Coast Cruise where they have tons of sculptures made out of Legos and you get the opportunity to enjoy the “sights and adventures along the lakeshore.” Then we were off to a ride called the Aquazone Wave Racer, which was so much fun.

Some more of our favorite rides included: Bionicle Blaster (like the Teacups ride), The Dragon (roller coaster), Splash Battle (where you get squirted and you can squirt other riders), Treasure Falls (a Log Ride), Volvo Driving School (kids get to try following the rules of the road ( a sort of drivers ed)), Sky Cruiser (peddle along a track elevated and a great scenic route), The Safari Track (goes through a sort of Savannah type of environment) and so much more.

My son loved the musical instruments fountain. Located on the ground were discs that were attached to a specific instrument and when stomped or jumped on, it would make that musical instrument play.

We had a big group of family and friends, so we all began jumping on the discs to make music, it was pretty funny.

My family and I cannot wait to go again! 🙂

If you have not been, I would strongly encourage you and your family to experience this astounding amusement park.
